Vivo has always been an imperative player when it comes to budget smartphones. Vivo Y75 was launched and added to its lineup in the last week of January this year. If you have got the forethought to purchase this device, you must go through this blog before purchasing it. We will be discussing its technical specifications and sharing my personal opinion regarding this smartphone as well.

Design & Display

If we talk about the design, it appears to be a sleek device. It’s got a glass front and the backside is made up of good quality plastic. It comes with a side-mounted fingerprint scanner. In terms of display, it meters a 6.58-inch IPS LCD since it offers better viewing angles, with a resolution of 1080 x 2408 pixels and an 83.8% screen-to-body ratio. It has an aspect ratio of 20:9 to boost the user experience. It weighs about 187 grams.

Rear Camera

Talking about its triple-rear camera setup, it contains an amazing 50-megapixel primary sensor featuring an aperture of f/1.8, a 2-megapixel macro sensor, and a 2-megapixel depth sensor. The macro sensor lets you focus on closer distances. Talking about the depth sensor it analyzes a scene and can make out the distance and depth of the objects. Moreover, The rear setup comes with a dual-LED flash. Not just that, you can even record 1080 pixels of videos at 30 frames per second. On top of that, it comes with HDR mode and panorama mode. Because of HDR mode, bright components of an image can get much brighter, so the image appears to have more depth. Due to panorama mode, it lets you capture more of the site by combining photographs to make a panoramic photo.

Front Camera

Speaking of the front camera, it comes with a 16-megapixel selfie camera with an aperture of f/2.0 for clicking perfect selfies. Apart from that, the front camera is capable of recording 1080 pixels of videos at 30 frames per second as well.

Processor and Operating System

It operates on Funtouch OS 12 on top of Android 11 and packs an octa-core 5G processor, MediaTek Dimensity 700 which drastically enhances an all-inclusive performance. From gaming to smooth scrolling, everything becomes like a breeze.

Storage Capacity

Speaking of the storage, it is integrated with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of on-deck storage (leaving enough room for storage expansion that accommodates up to 1TB of storage).

Battery Capacity

It packs in an amazing 5000mAh battery. The best part is that it comes with an 18W fast charging support.

Connectivity Options

Speaking of its connectivity, it comes with a dual Hybrid Nano-SIM. By hybrid slot, it means that you can either take a second SIM card or a microSD card if you want to expand the memory. A hybrid slot offers you the pliability to pick between a second SIM card or extra storage. Furthermore, it has Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, dual-band, Wi-Fi Direct, hotspot, Bluetooth 5.1, and USB Type-C together with sensor support such as an accelerometer, proximity, and compass.

Conclusion

To be honest, if we behold the processor, the camera, the battery, or the display. As per my opinion, the smartphone is integrated with a powerful chipset that will perform well enough in terms of gaming and all-inclusive performance. On top of that, you don’t need to worry about the battery as well. It is pretty decent and can last for more than half a day. It is a great and must-buy deal if you’re seeking something dynamic and reasonable at once.
