You will be surprised to know that the first Vivo Y28 was released a decade ago. In 2014, when smartphones were not very common and popular, Vivo was already ahead of its competitors.

Today exactly 10 years later, we are anticipating the release of the Vivo Y28. The rumors said that the phone would have 8GB RAM. The official launched site confirms it and along with it, it would also have 8GB expandable RAM.

The highlight of the phone is the 5000 mAh battery that would be perfectly optimized by Dimensity 6020 SoC to offer 54.29 hours of uninterrupted playback, 19 hours of straight online streams, 8.87 hours of continuous gaming, and 12 hours of short feedback support.

The battery is equipped with 24 Dimension Security protection that makes sure that the phone charges safely, without inviting any bugs, and that it is never overcharged maintaining a cool phone temperature.

The Vivo Y28 is a budget friendly release, courtesy goes toMediaTek Dimensity 6020. I think MediaTek has made it a point to release chipsets that optimise the entry level and mid range phones and elevate the performance of daily activity.

Apart from these, you would get a display of 6.5 inches. The average display size allows to watch movies and games well. The brightness is expected to be more than 840 nits. I have had Vivo experiences and never had any complaints against the display quality. So, I am hoping this time, they have done quite well as well.

While we are waiting for the official declaration, the Vivo Y28 price is supposed to be under 15k. If you have bank and credit cards, you might get it for less than 12k I believe. Even 15k seems to be a fair deal for the phone.

Vivo is a camera-centric brand, so they optimized their camera to capture ultra clear nights. The night mode in Vivo promises you the most beautiful night views through the lense of it. The standout unique light would make your day shots impressive.

It has a 50MP primary camera. The average phones in this range would not offer you 50Mp resolution. So, its a good deal.

Although you would have android 13 installed, who’s stopped from jumping to android 14 right away?!!

If you are looking for a decent deal in the 12/13k range, consider Vivo Y28 5G.
