In the same price range, POCO released the POCO M2 Pro. The device would start at the price of around Rs.13,999 (approximately). We’ll analyze and analyze the attributes and capabilities of both devices in this post to see which is the greatest in the trade.

Vivo Y21G Vs POCO M2 Pro: Design

The Vivo Y21G is 182 grams in weight and comes with a thickness of 8mm. The POCO M2 Pro weighs 209 grams and is slightly heavier than the Vivo Y21G with a thickness of 8.8mm.

Vivo Y21G Vs POCO M2 Pro: Display

The Vivo Y21G features a large 6.51-inch IPS LCD with a screen resolution of 720 x 1600 pixels, whereas the POCO M2 Pro has a slightly large 6.67" display. It’s an FHD+ display. It has a display resolution of 1080 x 2400 pixels with Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection.

Vivo Y21G Vs POCO M2 Pro: Camera?

The Vivo Y21G features a dual-camera setup at the rear, including a 13-megapixel wide camera lens, and a 2-megapixel macro camera lens along with an LED flash that clicks up to the mark pictures. The rear camera is also capable of shooting 1080 pixels of videos at 30 frames per second.

On either side, the POCO M2 Pro comes with a quad-camera setup but with a different configuration. It features a 48MP main camera sensor, an 8MP ultra-wide sensor, a 5MP macro sensor, and a 2MP depth sensor with a single flash.

Vivo Y21G contains an 8-megapixel front-facing camera with HDR support for capturing high-contrast selfie shots whereas the POCO M2 Pro contains a 16MP selfie shooter. In my opinion, I’d give a thumbs up to POCO M2 Pro in terms of the camera since it has an upper hand in having a quad-camera setup at the rear and a 16MP selfie shooter at the front with a blend of shooting modes that you don’t get to see on Vivo Y21G.

Vivo Y21G Vs POCO M2 Pro: Operating System

On top of Android 12, the Vivo Y21G runs on Funtouch OS 12. POCO M2 Pro, on the other hand, runs on MIUI 11 based on Android 10. In terms of operating systems, both smartphones have a more sophisticated appearance and have different interfaces, but both are simple to use. Furthermore, it is neat and attractive to the eye. In this situation, the Vivo Y21G provides you with the most recent Android version, making the Vivo Y21G a winner in terms of the operating system.

Vivo Y21G Vs POCO M2 Pro: Storage

The Vivo Y21G is available in only one configuration: 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage. The POCO M2 Pro, on either side, comes in three configurations: one with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage, another with 6GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage, and the third one is 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. The internal storage of the POCO M2 Pro can be expanded up to 512GB using a dedicated MicroSD card slot. In terms of storage, I’d recommend the POCO M2 Pro because it comes in three variants from which you can choose depending on your demands.

Vivo Y21G Vs POCO M2 Pro: Processor

The Vivo Y21G is powered by the MediaTek Helio G70 octa-core 4G processor. With this chipset, you may expect a terrific gameplay experience. The POCO M2 Pro, on either side, comes packed with another processor, Snapdragon 720G processor.

I have my doubts about this Snapdragon chipset’s ability to run demanding games. The Vivo Y21G, on the other hand, comes with a powerful Helio G series chipset that is built exclusively for gaming and makes it capable in every manner. One of my friends who recently bought the POCO M2 Pro encountered lag while playing games. In regards to the chipset, I’d recommend the Vivo Y21G.

Vivo Y21G Vs POCO M2 Pro: Battery

Vivo Y21G includes a massive 5000mAh battery and supports 18W rapid charging whereas POCO M2 Pro includes a massive 5000mAh battery and 33W fast charging support.

Vivo Y21G Vs POCO M2 Pro: Which One To Choose?

In my opinion, if your primary necessity is a camera, you should choose the POCO M2 Pro, which has a quad-camera arrangement. If the camera isn’t a primary concern for you, I recommend the Vivo Y21G. Because the chip can handle demanding games, the smartphone runs the most recent Android version. When it comes to pricing, both devices start at around Rs.14,000 each. If the camera isn’t your primary concern, the Vivo Y21G is a real frontrunner in my opinion.
