The UMIDIGI Bison 2 is going to be a revolutionary handset from Chinese phone manufacturer UMIDIGI that joins the Bison series of durable phones. The device is an upgraded model of the Bison cellphone that UMI first introduced in May 2021.
Although, this smartphone isn’t launched in India yet. In this blog post, you’ll get to learn a lot about the all-new UMIDIGI Bison 2, and its specifications.
Screen
The Bison 2 has a 6.5" screen with a punch-hole in the center with a screen resolution of 1080 x 2400 pixels. It is certified to IP68/IP69K and MIL-STD-810G because it is a tough smartphone.
The display is going to be a decent one. I feel the punch-hole design in the middle of the front panel is going to look good in terms of aesthetics.
Processor
The MediaTek Helio P90, an octa-core chipset geared at 2.2 GHz, and the PowerVR GM9446 GPU are what drive the UMIDIGI Bison 2. 64GB of inbuilt memory and 6GB of RAM are included with this.

The Umidigi Bison 2’s triple camera system has a 48MP main sensor with an f/2.2 aperture, a 16MP ultra-wide sensor with an f/2.2 aperture, and a 5MP depth sensor with an f/2.4 aperture on the back. For selfies, it includes a single frontal camera arrangement with a 24MP sensor with an f/2.0 aperture.

The phone has a side-mounted fingerprint sensor and two 4G VoLTE-capable SIM cards. Inside though, there seems to be a 6150 mAh battery with an 18W rapid charging. Other capabilities comprise USB Type-C and connectivity for the 3.5mm audio connector.
Connectivity Options
It also has Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth v5.0, USB Type-C, 3G, and 4G networking choices. The smartphone has a gyroscope, barometer, compass/magnetometer, accelerometer, fingerprint scanner, proximity sensor, and ambient light sensor. Being a mid-range smartphone, people would get to see a lot of connectivity options on this device.
The Umidigi Bison 2 runs Android 12 and has an internal capacity of 128GB that can be increased with a microSD card up to 512GB in a dedicated card slot.
A dual-SIM smartphone that supports Nano-SIM cards. The Umidigi Bison 2 comprises 280 grams and has dimensions of 172.07 x 83.82 x 12.90mm. It has an IP68 certification for water and dust resistance.
