Micromax In Note 2- A Mighty Beast?
Micromax has long been a significant player in the low-cost market. In January 2022, Micromax announced the addition of the In Note 2 to their range. It has been made available for purchase from the 30th of January on the company’s official website and on Flipkart for Rs.13,499.
If you’re thinking about buying this smartphone, you should read this blog since we’ll go over its technical characteristics as well as my thoughts on it.
Display
It features a 6.43" Full HD+ AMOLED display with a screen resolution of 1080 x 2400 pixels and an 84 percent screen-to-body ratio.
It has a punch-hole architecture and Corning Gorilla Glass shielding to give the screen a more spellbinding appeal. To improve the customer browsing experience, it has a 20:9 aspect ratio and 550 nits of peak brightness.
Quad-Camera Setup At The Rear
One of the device’s strongest selling points is its quad-camera configuration. It includes a 48-megapixel primary camera with an f/1.8 aperture, which allows the sensor to take in more light and improve low-light performance, a 5-megapixel ultra-wide sensor with a 115-degree field of vision, allowing you to capture almost as much as your eyes can.
A 2-megapixel macro sensor can be used for capturing macro shots. This lens will let you take pictures from a close distance, and with a 2-megapixel depth sensor, you can capture images with great depths, giving your images a crisp and clear look along with an LED flash. Talking about the front, it has got a 16-megapixel shooter for picture-perfect selfies with a screen flash. The front-facing camera is also capable of recording 1080p of videos.
Operating System & Processor
It comes with Android 11 out of the box and a powerful gaming chipset, MediaTek Helio G95. This phone also has Liquid Cooling Technology, which prevents overheating and maintains a perfect temperature so that you can go on about your daily operations with comfort.
A potent Mali-G76 MC4 GPU is partnered with this processor. If you’re playing games or not, multitasking is essential. All of this would be silky smooth while still being power-efficient.
Storage
It is available in only one variant: 4GB of RAM with 64GB of internal storage. The good thing is that the inbuilt capacity can be increased by a MicroSD card up to 256GB.
Price
You will have to pay Rs.13,499 for this single variant, which includes 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage.
Battery
It includes a big 5000mAh battery and this smartphone has a 30W rapid charging capability that allows customers to get their devices 50 percent charged in about half an hour.
Connectivity
It has a dual Nano-sim coupled with 4G VoLTE capability when it comes to connection. If it had also supported 5G bands, it could’ve been a step ahead. It also includes Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, GPS, Bluetooth v5.0, USB Type-C, and sensor capabilities, including an accelerometer and fingerprint reader on the side.
The Bottom Line
This device, in my view, has numerous outstanding characteristics and qualities, ranging from the quick chipset to the photography, battery, and screen. It is undoubtedly a 4G device with a potent processor combination that would excel when viewed holistically.
There’s no need to be anxious about the battery, either. This is a mighty beast if you’re looking for something colorful and affordable.
